Creamy, velvety Roasted Butternut Squash & Sage Gigli Pasta ... How is it that vegaetable can feel so indulgent?? ... I'll be honest, I struggle with butternut squash. It's one of those vegetables I want to like, but just doesn't work for me ... But this sauce made sweet from the roasting of the butternut squash and onions, then savoury from the roasted garlic and sage, just hits the comfort spot perfectly and has completely won me over ...

And once again, I'm back with a pretty shaped pasta (I can never resist!! 😂) ... Gigli, shaped like pretty little trumpet flowers with ruffled edges, is absolutely perfect for capturing pockets of this rich, velvety sauce 🩷 x

Simple but delcious Greek Mussels ... If I close my eyes, the aroma and flavours of this dish could almost transport me to a gorgeous Greek Island ... The Cherry Tomatoes bring a burst of sweetness against the brininess of the mussels and combine with the garlicy white wine to make a deliciously rich sauce. The addition of the feta adds a creamy burst of saltiness. Served with lots of warm, crusty bread to soak up all the juices ... All that's missing is the actual Greek Island! 😂

Short on inspiration when I walked into the supermarket yesterday, I reached for the @sainsburysmag and the page instantly fell open to an article celebrating Jane Austin 250th birthday and regency inspired food ... And that's where I found this Tea, Honey & Orange Ham with Speedy Piccalilli recipe ... Rosemary Shortbread ... These are soooo good, especially dipped in chocolate.

The inspiration for these came from a random conversation with a lady I met whilst out for a walk. It's fair to say I'm happy to talk to anyone and everyone about food and somehow the conversation directed itself to her telling me about her favourite two ingredient combination ... Rosemary and chocolate. Doubtful but intrigued, I decided the best way to test this out was in biscuit form! ... This is a really simple shortbread recipe that I've been making for a while, but the addition of the rosemary against the chocolate has taken it to another level x

A few of our foodie finds @tauntonmarket this afternoon ... Chilli chicken fries from Fully Loaded, then warm pork scratchings from @piggyinthemiddle ... Washed down with a beer from @fat_head_brewery ... And despite being very full at this pont, I spotted @bobomgelato and couldn't resist a tub of their Amarena cherry gelato ... And a tray of warm cinnamon sugar churros from @houseofflavours20 put the biggest smile on my little man's face x

Beautifully rich, flavourful and meltingly tender, slow cooked Buffalo Shin Masala Curry, with a zesty, fresh Coriander Sauce Vierge. I have very slightly adapted Sabrina Gidda's Ox Cheek Masala recipe for this. Whilst I've used buffalo shin from a recent trip to @buffaliciousuk, you can easily substitute for beef shin.
